September 5th, 2023 - Houston, TX - TCB Capital Advisors (“TCB” or the “Company”) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Nishant Sachdev as Director, further solidifying its position as a leading healthcare-focused advisory firm. With a robust background in healthcare and over a decade of banking experience, Sachdev is poised to drive TCB Capital Advisors' growth initiatives to new heights.
Sachdev will be spearheading TCB Capital Advisors' expansion in the healthcare sector and brings significant industry expertise to the team. Prior to joining TCB Capital Advisors, Sachdev was an officer at Piper Sandler in its Healthcare Services division, focusing on complex transactions involving private equity-backed, multi-site, and private practices. His experience working with a broad range of clients has led to a deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem while establishing a high reputation as a trusted advisor.
“I am honored to be a part of the TCB team as we endeavor to revolutionize the healthcare advisory landscape. TCB provides its clients with a truly differentiated service offering, delivering unparalleled value and strategic insights. I joined TCB because of the company’s commitment to driving exceptional results for our clients while maintaining a strong focus on improving patient outcomes,” said Sachdev.
"Nishant's expertise and dedication align perfectly with our goals of providing innovative solutions to our clients that go beyond simply closing deals but truly partnering with our clients to achieve their long-term strategies. I am thrilled to add another team member of this caliber to advance our mission to provide best-in-class service and impact in the Health and Life Sciences industry,” said Sam Libby, President and Managing Director at TCB.
With TCB having been involved in recent transactions with EDP Biotech, New Day Diagnostics, and Epigenomics AG, Sachdev joins the team just as the firm enters its next phase of growth. Started in late 2022, TCB is an affiliate of Weild and Co. (“Weild”), a distinguished brand in the financial services industry. Through its partnership with Weild, TCB stands at the forefront of providing innovative solutions to a diverse range of clients in recognition that in today’s market conditions, success is found beyond the deal. This includes pre-transaction advisory services, tailored processes to achieve all stakeholder objectives, and managing post-deal integration and growth.
Sachdev’s onboarding marks a significant milestone for TCB, signaling a dedication to expanding the Company’s service offering and becoming the go-to partner for clients seeking specialized healthcare investment banking solutions. Sachdev will play a critical role as TCB continues to execute on its rapid expansion strategy.
